Welcome to Morgan!
We are excited to welcome you to Morgan Elementary! We understand that being new to a school can be stressful and we want to make the transition as easy as possible. Below is information on dress code, spirit wear, events, and much more. Please also review the Documents page of our website and the Morgan Elementary and Lamar CISD websites for other valuable information.

Dress Code
Students can wear Morgan spirit wear, which can be purchased in the FOM Spirit Store, or the clothing of their choice, as long as it conforms to the LCISD Dress Code Policy.

Fridays - Morgan Spirit DAY - wear your grade level shirt (purchase HERE )

Spirit Store
FOM sells spirit wear items in the FOM Spirit Store. Items include the below list.

Yard Signs
Parents are encouraged to wear a Morgan shirt when chaperoning field trips and volunteering. Spirit wear will be delivered to your child's classroom.
Houses
Each student will be placed into a House, similar to Harry Potter. Students remain in the same House for their entire time at Morgan. Houses foster collaboration and teamwork and create an excitement that is unexplainable! For more information, click HERE.
School Supplies
School supply kits can be purchased from the School Tool Box for the 2023-2024 school year through June 18. We have a new vendor and every school supply kit will include name brand supplies (not generic brands). School supplies will be delivered directly to your Panthers classroom prior to Meet the Teacher...it doesn’t get any easier than this!! Orders placed after June 18 will be delivered directly to your home and you will need to bring the supplies to Meet the Teacher in August.
FOM does NOT order extra school supply kits. If you prefer to purchase your own school supplies, please click here to view the LCISD school supply list by grade.
How to get involved?
Parents are encouraged to attend school events, chaperone field trips, attend the FOM meetings each month, and volunteer at events such as Book Fair, Movie Night, Family Lunch, Grandparent Day, Field Day. To learn about volunteer opportunities, please visit the Volunteer page. Parents are encouraged to wear a Morgan shirt when chaperoning field trips and volunteering.
